IMPORTANT PRODUCT LABEL CHANGE INFORMATION

Over the next few weeks and months you will notice changes to the labels applied to our products. Our new company logo and contact details will be displayed alongside newly introduced health and safety legislation.
This new legislation means that our products Health & Safety information will be changing in line with the ‘Globally Harmonised System’ (GHS). GHS is a system that defines and classifies the hazards of chemical products, and communicates health and safety information on labels and safety data sheets. The goal is that the same set of rules for classifying hazards, and the same format and content for labels and safety data sheets (SDS) will be adopted and used around the world.
For hazardous products, red diamonds and symbols will replace the orange squares and new Hazard and Precautionary statements will replace the old Risk and Safety phrases. Some hazard information has been added to products, some hazard information has been removed but the product inside remains exactly the same. Same specification, same quality product.
In due course new Safety Data Sheets will be issued to reflect the label changes. Please make sure that the person responsible for Health and Safety is aware of this information.
If you have any queries please don’t hesitate to contact one of the sales team.
